The time has finally arrived for your Asawa to come to America to be with you.If you are able to fly to the Philippines and fly back with your Asawa that is great.

If however  for some reason  you are not able to fly there your filipina spouse will understand.

 

There are some things you can do before your asawa  comes  to make adjustment more easier for her. Look online or drive  around your city and find either a Philippino store or a least an asian store where she can go buy some food that she will like.

 

Make sure you have a good internet connection so that communication will not be a problem.Your spouse will want to communicate back home with family.

 

If she is catholic (there is a good chance she is) try to find a catholic church for her.

Rice cooker. You have probably heard that before buy your Filipina spouse a rice cooker. It is true. A Filipina loves to cook and eat rice.

 

After your spouse  is here.Give some time to adjust it will be  a long flight.and she will be in a strange land, most likely the only person she will know is you

 

Family is very important to a Filipina. IF you do not or can not help your Asawa support her family back home then i will strongly recommend letting your Filipina spouse work. A true Filipina wants to help her family and husband. If she does not feel like she is helping then your marriage might not last
